GLENDALE, WI – July 30, 2019 – Building Products, a business unit of Inteplast Group, received an evaluation report from ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) for its Décor Deck and Porch lines manufactured at its Glendale, Wisconsin plant on March 15, 2019. Customers can be assured that these products meet code requirements and align to criteria abided by architects, building officials, contractors, specifiers, designers, and others.
Data for the Décor Deck and Décor Porch lines were reviewed in the following areas: test reports, calculations, quality control methods, and other factors all of which are code-compliant based on the evaluation.
Mike Hwang, general manager of Building Products, said, “Our team in Glendale, which was a facility we acquired in 2017, have been working hard to ensure that the Décor lines from our Wisconsin facility are very good for homes, institutions, and that the retail businesses of our distributors can provide their customers with the best quality at a good value.”
Décor Deck is an easy maintenance alternative to wood, which may slot, rot, or crack. Customers will enjoy a limited lifetime warranty along with a 25-year warranty for fading and stain-resistance. Colors available are London Grey, Moroccan Cedar, Spanish Walnut, and Tuscan Cherry. Available in these same colors is its counterpart for porch design, Décor Porch. This product is manufactured in the traditional 3-and-3/16” tongue-and-groove style and is also fade and stain resistant.
